Throughout history, women have faced numerous challenges and barriers that have prevented them from achieving their full potential. Maybe your mom is your role model, your sister, a teacher you had in school... Female role models are incredibly important for empowering and uplifting women, inspiring them, and showing them what is possible. If one woman has broken the glass ceiling, it shows all women that it can (and should) be broken. “We cannot be what we cannot see.” If we don’t see people that look like us, whether of the same gender, skin color, or any other marker, it's a lot more difficult to believe that we can achieve these goals.
